This burial mound in Dorset dates to the Bronze Age. It is located on Holt Heath in Dorset which was badly affected by a wildfire in 2025. The scene shows the barrow one year on and not much of the vegetation has returned. The fire was so intense it burned away the topsoil exposing the sand gravel and make up of the mound. The blackened remains of gorse bushes are still present. If you look carefully you can see where they define the ring ditch around the base of the barrow.
The scar across the top is caused by mountain bikers using the monument as a ramp. The scene was capture with an insta X5 and processed in 360splat pro and postshot.
