Georges Méliès' grave in Paris, France.
Georges Méliès (1861-1938) is widely considered to be one of the earliest directors to create "trick films" by using special effects.
Capturing the area took less than 5 minutes, using an Insta360 One X5. Processed using 360° Gaussian and LichtFeld Studio.
The trick was to carefully look at the surroundings and plan the shoot in order to scan everything I wanted to capture, including the back of the grave with the fence. Avoiding improvisation led to a fast capture.
I could probably create a more detailed 3DGS with more VRAM, so I'll probably reprocess this scene later on.
