This is Puʻukoholā Heiau, located in Kawaihae on Hawaiʻi Island. Commissioned by Kamehameha I around 1790–1791, this massive dry-stacked stone heiau played a pivotal role in the unification of the Hawaiian Islands and remains one of the most significant cultural and historical sites in Hawaiʻi.
