Spandet Church is a whitewashed late Romanesque church from the 13th century, dedicated to Saint James. It consists of a nave, apse, and chancel, as well as a Late Gothic tower. The nave appears to be slightly younger than the apse and chancel. The church was built from tuff stone, monk bricks, and granite ashlar. The nave has a wooden ceiling, the apse has a contemporary semi-domed vault, while the chancel and tower room contain vaults dating from the Late Gothic period.
