The apparatus is 115cm in height, 35cm in width, 160cm long. The length of pommels is 12cm while the distance between them is 40-45cm. During the performances on Pommel Horse, the gymnast can touch the apparatus only with hands. The movements on this apparatus consist of continuous rotations, circles, swinging with straddled legs or legs together, flipping, "scissors", flares, handstands and etc.
