Welcome to what might be the first 3D Gaussian Splat of the Moon!
This interactive model is a partial reconstruction covering roughly half of the lunar surface based on the availability of overlapping high resolution images.
I created this scene by manually curating over 300 photographs taken during the recent NASA Artemis II mission. The camera alignment was solved in RealityScan and the splat generation was processed locally using LichtFeld Studio.
Feel free to explore the extreme details in your browser or download the model completely for free for your own personal and creative projects. If you reuse this file please credit my reconstruction work and acknowledge the original space agency archive.
