Morning hike at Daregahan, Taft, Yazd, Iran.
Daregahan is a mountain trail with natural waterfalls and vegetation along the route. Landscapes like this are relatively rare around Yazd, a region mostly known for its arid climate, which made it an interesting place to capture and reconstruct.
I recorded this scene at around 7 AM. The soft indirect morning light and almost completely windless conditions made the environment particularly suitable for Gaussian Splatting.

After testing different approaches for processing 360° footage into a trainable 3DGS dataset, this has been the fastest and most efficient workflow I have found so far.
