Grave of Captain James B. Parramore at the family plot. An early white mayor of Orlando and Confederate Soldier, who arrived in 1881 with his family and plotted the Parramore neighborhood for development in Downtown. Taken January 28th, 2026; 12pm in sunny weather conditions for a digital storytelling project with the University of Central Florida's Institute for Simulation and Training's ChronoPoints labs and their History Department's RICHES Digital Archiving Project on the Parramore community.
