Revisiting my first and most viewed splat posted here, with a new reconstruction and much higher quality than the original (https://superspl.at/scene/712a5650).
- new extraction of ~800 frames from original video shot on iPhone 15 (however it was recorded only at 2160x1214 and not full 4K)
- lifted up the shadows a bit for more details in dark areas
- had to remove some closeup frames of wheels and license plates as they were throwing off the reconstruction heavily (front and back license plates got matched to each other and the car had the front and back superimposed on each other)
- reconstruction with Colmap (sift exhaustive - tried aliked as well, didn't work too well), radial camera model, one camera per frame
- training with Slang-Splat, 25k iterations
