A Grade II listed Norman church shell situated in the Ouse Valley. (Stantonbury Low / Manor)
c. 1150 (12th Century): Constructed as the parish church for the medieval village of Stantonbury / Stanton Low.
14th Century: East window and structural modifications added during the High Middle Ages.
1900s–1950s: Regular worship declined as the surrounding village vanished, leaving the building isolated.
1950: The historic 12th-century Norman chancel arch was removed and relocated to St James’s Church in New Bradwell for preservation.
1950s–Present: The remaining roofless shell fell into ruin and is now managed as an open historic monument within Stanton Low Park.
