A Little Bit of History:
Built around 1805 using locally quarried limestone, Bradwell Windmill is believed to be the oldest surviving tower mill in Buckinghamshire. Positioned to catch the breezes along the valley and make use of the nearby Grand Union Canal to ship flour, it ground wheat and barley for over 70 years until commercial milling ended in the late 19th century. Today, the Grade II listed landmark is preserved as a rare piece of local heritage.
