nestled on the edge of the North York Moors, St Nicholas Church sits on the edge of an escarpment with views over the valley and sea. The current church dates largely to the 17th century and sits on the site of an earlier building. The ruins and earthworks of the medieval manor house lie in the adjacent field, testament to the wealth and importance of the village of Roxby in times past. The building is Grade II listed and an amazing place to visit.
