- Camera alignment + masking + 3DGS dataset: Reality Scan (2-phase - with lens- and calibration grouping).
- 3DGS rendered and edited with Lichtfelt (30.000 iterations, masked, 4096 px image width,1M splats).

- The specimen suffered from being frozen (collapsed eyes).
- Preparing / posing and conserving a specimen is a skill I still have to learn a lot about (pierced body and glue on legs).
- I still wonder how to successfully render the faceted eyes in 3DGS. Anyone?
