Basilisken Brunnen, Engelgasse, Basel, Switzerland
Created in the end of the 19th century after a design by Wilhelm Heinrich Issel, the Basilisken-Brunnen features cast-iron basins adorned with Basel's mythical basisk and local flora.
Today, over 60 of these iconic green drinking fountains are found all over Basel.
