This nymph was actually trained in LFS, you can see the settings on my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/DanyBittel/posts/stink-shield-bug-166915351 I usually use PS, occasionally LFS to mess around.. but it's a constant struggle to get a good splat. Looking forward to your scans!

Wow what a perfect Splat! And you have posed the Bug so nicely! That is a skill in itself. Did you use a doodle object underneath the insect or just the green chroma material as background? I am myself working on a black velvet background and I am very happy with the result (no masking necessary). I have just built a 4 axes robot (I call it the MICROscanR) and I am yet to post my first results of that here. Yesterday I finished the first scan of 885 viewpoints of average 12 frames deep (8699 pictures in 2h35m) and I was surprised to see that RS has no problem aligning these focus stacked images perfectly. I only need to learn how to get the best Splats from that, because I am not happy with the result form Lichtfelt yet... What app do you use for this endresult? Supersplat / Lichtfelt / Postshot / Brush ? Many compliments, Huib Schippers
