Captured in Hogwarts Legacy with RecorderGaussian, a ReShade add-on I built to automate multi-view capture for Gaussian Splatting.
Instead of recovering camera poses through photogrammetry, the add-on drives the game's free camera and reads back its exact pose for every shot: position, orientation and field of view come straight from the engine, with no estimation and no drift. It walks a 3D grid of viewpoints and, at each node, shoots a full panorama at several pitch angles, covering floor to ceiling. The initial point cloud is rebuilt from the game's depth buffer, replacing the sparse cloud that SfM would normally provide.
1680 images, 5×2×7 positions × 8 yaw steps × 3 pitch tiers. Trained with LichtFeld Studio.
