Krnjevo, Serbia - Church and the oldest Serbian schools from 1779.
The school that today bears the name of the Serbian educator and reformer Vuk Karadžić began operating in 1779.
It is located in the vicinity of Velika Plana, in the village of Krnjevo. The first teacher was named Pavle Jugović. The road to it takes you through greenery and forests, while it stands proudly at the very end of the road.
It was built next to the log church dedicated to St. George and is also considered one of the oldest churches. The First Pilgrims' Council was held there in 1920.
