A 3D reconstruction of Castillo de la Mota in Medina del Campo, Spain, created from 2,400 aerial photographs captured with a DJI Matrice 4E. Around 700 images were taken during a planned automated flight, while the remaining photographs were captured through manual flights to document finer architectural details.
The images were aligned in RealityScan and processed in LichtFeld Studio. Training took nearly six hours, completing 500,000 iterations with up to five million Gaussians. The model was then cropped and cleaned to highlight the castle and its immediate surroundings.
