Built in 1818, the church's patronal feast is dedicated to the Holy Hieromartyr Haralambos, a saint venerated in Orthodoxy and known as a protector against plague and famine.
It is said it was demolished in 1988 under the regime of Nicolae Ceaușescu, along with many other historical monuments.
