I recommend using the Walk Mode or Orbit Camera to view this splat. You can change to it in the lower right-hand side of the viewer.
This statue is located near the Quad of Texas State University's campus, near the Evans Liberal Arts Building where the Department of Anthropology (and my office!) is located. The bobcat has been my favorite animal since I was a little kid, so it makes me very happy to walk past the statue every day I go to work. The statue was commissioned by Student Government and created by sculptor Matthew Palmer in 2008. The bobcat was adopted as Texas State's mascot in 1921 and named "Boko" in 1964 by student Beth Greenlees as part of a campus-wide competition.
This gaussian splat was created from several passes with an Insta360 X5 camera at several different heights (above head, chest height, and just above ground) and two sets of expanding circles. I exported the videos from Insta360 Studio, used the 360 Extractor Blender add-on (https://toppinappi.gumroad.com/l/360extractor) to create a series of flat images, produced a Colmap dataset with RealityScan, and trained the final 3DGS with PostShot (104k steps).
