Rancho Villarreal, San Isidro, Starr County, Texas - Bedroom (2022)
This and the neighboring structures were built and occupied from the late-nineteenth through the mid-twentieth centuries. This site was the location of the first archaeological field school I taught in Texas, and the first in the RGV since the 1970s. My students and I are currently finishing the analysis of this site and are preparing publications and a virtual reconstruction of the site. This 3DGS was created using 144 images collected with a drone and processed in the new Reconstrura software before editing with SuperSplat Editor and uploading here.
