This model required a great deal of work. I took over 12,000 photos (around 200 GB), from which I then used Helicon Focus (focus bracketing software) to create images with perfect depth of field. (I use focus bracketing to avoid using very small apertures, which can cause diffraction.) This model is 32 cm long, so without focus bracketing, I wouldn't have been able to achieve such a stunning image.
I then used Lightroom to crop out excess areas of the frame and leave only the dragon-lion. After cropping the images, I positioned them using RealityScan and then ran them in Postshot with 200,000 iterations and 6 million splats. Shot with a Canon R5 mk2 + 35mm 1.4 (shot at f4 because this lens provides maximum detail and clarity at that setting).
PS One focus bracketing series used 45 shots.
