Have you thought of trying out the example you first made for nerfs as a gaussian splat, I saw you did the Cerro Gordo ghosttown which was originally a photogrammetry scan, but maybe you could see how much better the gaussian splat is from the nerfs that were around for a tiny bit. This table just reminded me of that mirror ball on the table.
