Oshima Sites, Kitami-shi, Hokkaido 北海道北見市　大島遺跡群

The Oshima site group consists of more than 200 remains of pit houses mainly from the Satsumon culture (around the 11th century), which remain in hollows without being fully buried. The Oshima 1 site is on the left and the Oshima 2 site on the right, with the remains of a dwelling under excavation at the Oshima 2 site.
