Penfield Town Hall

This is the Town Hall of Penfield, N.Y. USA. The imagery for this model was captured on May 1st, 2025. A Skydio 2 drone was manually flown over and around the site capturing 4k video. Over 2600 frames were then extracted from those videos. The frames were aligned in Agisoft Metashape standard edition. Undistorted images, a point cloud and camera poses were then exported in Colemap format. This exported data was then processed using LichtFeld Studio to create a 13 million Gaussian (Gaussian Splat Model) model with three spherical harmonics. The model was run to 120,000 iterations. The 13M splat count was hit around half way through the iterations during training. Finally some editing was performed by hand using Super Splat to remove some floaters and to crop out the high clouds and large messy looking splats at the edges of the model.
