This bug often feeds on tomatoes by piercing the fruit with its trunk and drinking out juices, leaving dark spots. The small pearls above it's eyes are simple light sensors. The holes along the sides are spiracles, used for breathing. It has wings but is not a strong flyer, often staying in the same spot for long periods. When startled, it releases a foul odor. It is considered a pest. Shot from 127 perspectives, 16 focus stacked images each. Nikon D810, cropped sensor, f/18, ISO 320, Tamron 90mm macro lens and 20mm extension, with Speedlights. www.patreon.com/DanyBittel
