KIO Outdoor Test — 10.09.2025 Hardware: • Camera: RICOH THETA 360 ×1 Software: • Blender 4.5 • Plugins: 360 Extractor Tool by Olli Huttunen • Training Pipeline: Jawset Postshot 1.0 , Splat 3 Workflow: The path was walked three times in a zig-zag pattern at varying heights to ensure full scene coverage: • ~2.4 m • ~1.6 m • ~0.9 m Dataset: • Total number of images: 950 • Date of Capture: 10.09.2025 • Time to Capture: 2 Minutes per pass (6 minutes in total) • Operator: A.B. Key Observations: • Moving from 200 to 950 input images and upgrading from the beta to Postshot 1.0 improved density and overall fidelity of the splat. • While the result with 950 images is significantly better, it is important to conduct additional tests using two or three higher-quality 360 cameras simultaneously along one path, rather than repeating the same path three times at different heights.
